North Minahasa Regency is situated in the northern part of North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Its capital is Airmadidi, and it is strategically located near the provincial capital, Manado, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors.
The regency is known for its stunning natural attractions, including access to Bunaken National Park, a globally recognized diving destination, and Mount Klabat, the tallest mountain in North Sulawesi. It is also rich in cultural heritage, with sites like the ancient Waruga Stone Tombs, which are remnants of the region's traditional burial practices.
The economy of North Minahasa is largely driven by agriculture, particularly coconut plantations, along with fishing and tourism. Its proximity to Manado and key tourist spots like Bunaken also supports a growing hospitality industry.

The Waruga Stone Tombs offer a glimpse into the region's ancient burial traditions, while local markets and communities showcase the region's rich culinary heritage, including dishes like tinutuan (Manado porridge).
North Minahasa is easily accessible from Manado via a short drive, around 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Visitors can reach Manado through Sam Ratulangi International Airport, which has domestic and international flights, and then travel by road to North Minahasa.
